Leopard Research

Our resident researcher, Eardley, has been collecting data on leopards for more than a decade here. A pertinent fact Eardley has noted is that one of our most valuable resources is unfortunately being wasted.

Many other wildlife species are sustainable utilized and provide compensation for the opportunity costs of not running domestic livestock on agricultural land. Predators unfortunately cannot sustain themselves on wildlife ranches unless the population provides compensation for it to be protected on the properties. Paying trophy hunters are the most efficient way for wildlife to sustain itself and there is no reason this method cannot be applied to leopard conservation too.
