Ulf's hunted Namibia before and he's looking to see what the Eastern Cape has to offer! He arrived on Saturday afternoon, 13th of February and Sunday was his first hunting day.

Sunday afternoon, 14th of February, Ulf wounded a very good White Blesbuck and they managed to bay it with the hounds on Monday morning to finish it off. He also hunted a very good Bushbuck on Sunday.

15 February 2010- Monday: Our weather widget on our Weather Page under Information says 77F, but it definitely much warmer today with a warm wind blowing, it's more like 100F. Ulf and PH Eric are out hunting and hopefully there will be more good news tonight! Cooler weather is expected tomorrow. Ulf hunted a good Common Blesbuck.

16 February 2010 - Tuesday: In rainy conditions, Ulf & PH Eric set out for the area called Sunlands, on Blaauwkrantz. Ulf stalked and hunted an excellent 50" Kudu bull, he is a happy man improving alot on his Namibian bull. He also hunted a very big 24" Impala ram.

17 February 2010 - Wednesday: A superb cool day after the rain yesterday, Ulf & Eric went hunting Blue Wildebeest and they tracked down a very good bull and Ulf made a great shot to bag the 'clown' of the plains!

18-20 February 2010: Ulf traveled to the plains of the Karoo and hunted a very good Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest & White Springbuck.

21 February 2010: Ulf's first night at the Bushpig bait....no luck

22 February 2010: Two very good Brown Bush Duiker's were hunted today. It was Ulf's second night at the Bushpig bait, the pigs came and his shot wasn't good enough, wounding a boar and hopefully, Chalky the tracking hound will pick up the spoor.

23-24 February 2010: Headed out to the mountains at Springvale, species hunted were Black Springbuck, Mountain & Common Reedbuck... Conditions were rainy but Ulf did some sharp shooting!

25 February 2010: Ulf and Eric went back down to Blaauwkrantz lodge, hunted a good Impala this afternoon and hunted a Cape Grysbok at night.

27 February 2010 - Ulf departed today, 13 hunting days & 19 trophies - a successful hunt! Thank you for hunting with us Ulf and we look forward to having you back one day.
