Family News

This year is a Rudman Christmas and we will all be together at Blaauwkrantz. Christmas Eve we will have a dinner at Arthur & Trinette's home and on Christmas Day, we will be celebrating with a braai aka barbeque at our newly renovated Get-Away lodge.

Arthur & Trinette’s News:

Arthur has been very involved in Wildlife Ranchers South Africa (WRSA) this year as a director. His contribution has been useful and thus the Professional Hunters of South Africa (PHASA) asked him to stand for re-election on their executive. He will be serving on the PHASA executive for the 2 two years, mainly building a strong relationship between WRSA and PHASA.

Once our hunting season was over, Trinette packed her bags and travelled to Italy for 2 weeks with a friend. They had a wonderful time experiencing the Italian culture and of course shopping J.

Eardley & Carmen’s News

Eardley is hard at work keeping his bushpig baits stocked and monitoring the movements of these fascinating creatures. He even has a Bushpig Blog! Besides ranching, he has also been playing cricket over the weekend.

Carmen’s been taking care of baby, Caleb, who is 7 months old and growing. She’s also been helping out with administration in the office. Carmen is looking forward to visiting her parents in Johannesburg for a few weeks while Eardley is in the USA during January.

Francois & Cris’ News

No sooner had they completed renovations to their own home, when they started on the Get-Away lodge, their hard work has paid off and it looks great.

Francois is also playing cricket and he will join up with Cris in Mexico after the Reno SCI show in January, to attend a wedding and spend some time with the Fernandez family.

Philip & Zani’s News

Philip & Zani have been catching up with their golfing friends, spending most Saturdays on the fairways. Philip is hiring an adjacent property to Springvale and is enjoying the challenge in very dry conditions. Daughter, Jane starts Grade 1 in January at Yellowwoods School as a boarder. Jack will miss his big sister, but understands that to become clever, one has to go to school. Zani will also be attending the conventions during January in the US.

With the help of Cris' designing skills, Zani and Cris have put together a new brochure, booth for the conventions and website.
